Meat processing
The quality of food products largely depends on heat treatment methods.
Description
Meat processing plants are constantly faced with demands from both customers and government agencies. The level of hygiene affects not only the safety of the product, but also the shelf life. The installation requires significant energy inputs for both steam production and the cooling process. The quality of cooling affects the quality of the product; consequently, more objects require lower temperatures to be frozen each year.
In the primary process of fish/meat processing, we develop and supply “DAS” brand production robots (Fully Automatic Poultry Deboning Robot, Automatic Pork Cutting and Deboning System). We have supplied these automated robots and systems to many clients around the world.
Temperature control is of great importance to the quality and taste of food. We supply “CHORUS” brand freezers and defrosters for a number of processing lines in the food industry, in processes such as receiving, defrosting, heating, cooling, freezing, packaging and storing the product.
Mayekawa offers innovative solutions for all of the above, namely the “NewTon” system for product cooling/freezing using NH3/CO2 refrigerants. Heating is easily achieved with our eco-friendly CO2 and NH3 heat pumps.
